Why we recommend the Onestar
Easy for beginners, and it grows with you

Spins long, even with a light throw
Its ball bearing keeps the yo-yo spinning longer, so you can take your time practicing tricks.

A shape that lands on the string
The wide wing shape makes it easier to land the yo-yo on the string.

Upgrade as you improve
Out of the box, it returns to your hand with a tug. Once you’ve improved, swap in the parts included in the set for a longer-spinning, advanced setup.
Watch: the Onestar in one minute
For kids under 10
For kids who can’t throw yet: the Hyper Yo-Yo Accel spins with just a pull
The first hurdle with a yo-yo is the throw. Without a good throw, the yo-yo won’t spin.
With Bandai’s Hyper Yo-Yo Accel series, you grab the side of the yo-yo and pull the string, and it starts spinning. No throw is needed, so even kids who can’t throw yet get that “I did it!” moment right away.

Good to know before you buy
The Accel series is an entry-level yo-yo for discovering the fun of spinning. It isn’t suited to seriously practicing tricks such as landing the yo-yo on the string.
STEP 1
Discover the fun of spinning with the Accel Origin
Just grab and pull. Start by enjoying the feel of a spinning yo-yo.
STEP 2
Take on tricks with the Onestar
Once you’re comfortable, practice throwing and move on to all kinds of tricks.
We recommend the set that includes both
This set combines the Accel Origin and the Onestar with an instructional DVD and more. From the fun of spinning to your first tricks, it’s all in one box.
