ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.

Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.

  • (Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
  • Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
  • Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed

Examples of items that are not considered initial defects

  • Damage to the package
  • Color image difference
  • Bearing noises after playing a few times
  • A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
  • Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
  • The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
  • Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
  • Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers

C3yoyodesign - Krown .ws (Prototype)

The Krown .ws was created by accident during the development phase, and became a 48 mm wide wide metal.

Even with well-established yo-yo models, there are always times when development is underway to update the design. Krown is one such model, and there are several prototypes that have not yet appeared on the stage. This Krown.ws is one of those prototypes that was put into production, because it would have been a shame to leave it in the shadows.

"ws" is an abbreviation for "wide style," and literally, this is a Krown that has become a wide metal throw. The width has gone from 44.5mm to 48mm, and the diameter has also decreased by 1mm. The difference is so noticeable that there is an obvious sense of discomfort when comparing the two in the hand.
In fact, although it's extra wide, the size balance (ratio of diameter to width) and the shape of the edges make this Krown the closest in shape to the original Krown.

The wider Krown makes it easier to hit the string which also makes it easier to handle even for beginners learning their first binds. The light and smooth feeling that was characteristic of the original Krown has been accelerated, making it even more nimble. Adding to the lightness of the yo-yo is the strong torque when returning to the hand.

It is not a yo-yo with overtly strong rotation, but even when the sleep tires out, it still manages to lightly rewind back. That is a very appealing feature.

The .ws will inevitably have a great impact on future models in the Krown series, and was put into production specifically to make a name for itself as an important addition to the series.

Notice

  • This work is a prototype. The pads fit quite deeply, so the initial state of the pads are set up to emphasize slippage.
  • We recommend using C3 pads (Sakura) or Rewind Japan pads (red) to get the full performance of the original "Krown.ws".
  • We plan to modify the pad depth in the production version.
