Founded by Yohan and Ben McPhee, former demonstrators for Pro Yo-Yo (Playmax) in the 90s, Yoyo Factory is a major yo-yo manufacturer with its headquarters in Arizona, USA. In 2003, they developed the "FAST201" yo-yo, which is equipped with an innovative response system called the "FAST system." It was also released by the major American toy manufacturer Hasbro, and became a huge hit, selling over tens of millions of units, leading to rapid growth for the company. Based on the brand concept of "not making yo-yos, but making yo-yo players," they offer a wide range of products to meet the needs of all ages, from yo-yos for beginners to those used by world champions, and have gained tremendous support from all walks of life.In Japan, they are included as a brand in Bandai's third Hyper Yo-Yo (since 2010), and the beginner-oriented yo-yo "One Star" has been a hit in recent years, so there are many users who say that "Yoyo Factory was their first yo-yo."Yoyo Factory's sponsored teams include star players such as Gentry Stein (2014 and 2019 World Champion), Shu Takada (2012, 2015-2019 World Champion), John Ando (2008 and 2015 World Champion), and Izuru Hasumi (2021 National Champion), who is also a staff member at Rewind Shibuya. Signature models created with the input of each player are also popular. In addition, we collaborate with artists from major music labels, illustrators, creators, apparel brands, and other genres. We (Yoyo Company, Ltd.) are the official distributor of Yoyo Factory in Japan.
